Isomagnetic headphone diaphragm is not as light as static headphone diaphragm, but it has the same large vibration area and similar sound quality. It is not as efficient as movable coil headphone and is not easy to drive.
2. Moving coil earphone is the most common and common headphone. Its driving unit is basically a small moving coil loudspeaker, which is driven by the voice coil in the permanent magnetic field to vibrate the diaphragm connected with it. Moving coil headphones have high efficiency. Most of them can be driven by the output of the headphones on the stereo, and they are reliable and durable. Generally speaking, the larger the diameter of the driving unit, the better the performance of the headphones. At present, the largest diameter of the driving unit in the consumer headphones is 50mm, which is generally flagship headphones.
3. Electrostatic headphones have a light and thin diaphragm, polarized by high DC voltage, and the electric energy needed for polarization is converted by AC, and also powered by batteries. The diaphragm is suspended in the electrostatic field formed by two fixed metal plates (stators). The electrostatic earphone must use a special amplifier to convert the audio signal into hundreds of volts of voltage signal. The sound pressure level it can reach is not as large as the movable coil earphone, but its response speed is fast, and it can reproduce all kinds of minute details and distortion. Very low.
4. Electret headphones are also called stationary electrostatic headphones. The diaphragm itself is polarized by the electrostatic field emitted by the polarized material outside the diaphragm, and no special equipment is needed to provide the polarization voltage. Electret headphones have most of the characteristics of static headphones, but the electret experience is gradually depolarized and needs to be replaced. Its life span is about 5-10 years.
